On the 20th-21st of September we held the international workshop on Embodying Climate Change. Researchers from different parts of the world (Europe, Argentina, US, Australia) and from different disciplines, including anthropology, sociology, geography and international relations, met to discuss their research and the wider conceptual framework of embodying climate change.
Two day discussions focused on dealing with urban heat, bushfires, droughts, deforestation as well as wider socio-political structures related to climate change. We also focused on different methods fruitful in studying and teaching the embodiment of climate change.
