Report “Urban Overheating: International Examples” by Hannah Knox and Melissa Kelly Shore

We are sharing a report “Urban Overheating: International Examples”, prepared by Hannah Knox and Melissa Kelly Shore for the UK government. This report provides an overview of international responses to urban overheating. It goes beyond a focus on individual building fabric to explore how city-wide responses can help mitigate the effects of heatwaves. It presents a review of international examples of cities which have developed a range of approaches for addressing and mitigating the risks associated with heat waves in urban settings.

Zofia Boni, the PI of EmCliC, participated in the roundtable discussion which informed the report.
