Heat Early Warning Systems Roundtable

In February 2023, the Global Heat Health Information Network brought experts from around the world together in Washington DC to discuss the scaling of Heat Health Early Warning Systems, in line with the targets of the global Early Warning Systems for All initiative. The discussions focused on the challenges in preparing and implementing locally situated Heat Health Early Warning Systems. The participants agreed that «it is important to incorporate social sciences into research to better understand knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to heat stress.» We couldn’t agree more!
